How it works
From an open seat to a ringing phone.
Here's exactly what happens after you claim a seat. You'll always know which step you're on and what we need from you.
The steps
There are four steps. We check your county. We set up your seat in 30 days. We count your calls for the first 60 days. Then we keep working and send you a report every month.
We check your county
Pick your trade and county on the Seat Map, and send us a request. Before you pay anything, we check three things:
- Who shows up first on Google for your trade in each town
- What your website and Google listing are missing
- Whether you can win the seat
If you can't win it, we'll tell you. You owe nothing.
We set up your seat in the first 30 days
We build or fix your website. We finish your Google Business Profile, which is your listing on Google Maps. We add a page for each town you work in. Then we put your call-counting number on your website and listing.
You approve anything with your name on it before it goes live.
We count your first 60 days
Once your call-counting number is live, we count every call. The calls from new customers in those 60 days are your starting count. Our promise is measured against it, and you get it in writing.
We keep working every month
We add and improve pages, and we post on your Google listing. After your jobs, we ask your customers for reviews. If a competitor moves up, we respond.
On the 1st of each month, we check where you show up in every town. Then we send your report.
One more thing, only if you say yes
If you agree, we list your business name and call counts on the public board. You save $100 a month for it. It shows customers that your phone really rings.
Your part
What we need from you
- Access to your Google listing, or your OK to set one up in your name.
- Someone to answer the phone during your business hours.
- One minute a week to mark which calls became jobs.
- Photos of your real work, trucks, and crew.
Never
What we'll never do
- Buy fake links, or sell you a package of directory listings.
- Write fake reviews, or give discounts in exchange for reviews.
- Make pages for towns you don't work in.
- Work with your competitor in your county while you hold the seat.
- Lock you into a yearly contract.
Start by checking your county.
It's free, and it tells you if you can win the seat.
